The Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our technical team to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you. Our platform manages thousands of returns every day - keeping this running smoothly is paramount for our retailers and their customers, and this role will play a key part in delivering that.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyse system specifications
  • Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. TestRail, Zephyr) and SQL
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Critical thinker and good problem-solver
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to develop Check Lists, and determinate and estimate testing level and scope
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Experience working with REST APIs and Postman is an advantage
  • Working knowledge with JIRA and Confluence
  • Working knowledge of an OOP language is an advantage
