QA Software Engineer

The Quality Assurance Engineer will develop manual and automated test strategies, analyze our complex software systems and ensure our products work beautifully for individual and enterprise customers worldwide. You will troubleshoot and isolate defects, providing regular status reports and updates to ensure we maintain the high quality of all Cloud Academy products. You will also track and support deployments in our enterprise deals and support the operations of our ground teams who are interfacing with our users.

You will join a growing engineering and product team with the opportunity of building manual and automated test strategies for our web and mobile based product, used by several thousands of customers in 140+ countries worldwide.


This position is based in our Swiss office in Mendrisio (Ticino).


As a QA Engineer you will

  • Be responsible for manual and automated testing of features across various platforms including web and mobile
  • Own the development and execution of test plans and test cases
  • Help develop, improve, and employ testing strategies and techniques
  • Create and edit automated test cases
  • Triage crash logs
  • Mentor other QA team members on testing and automation best practices
  • Work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and report on test execution progress and results.
  • Participate in design and specification reviews, and use this information to design test plans and drive test driven development.
  • Promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices.
  • Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
