Position Overview:
As the Receptionist and Office Coordinator,  you will be the face of Rent the Runway, greeting and assisting guests and helping to ensure the office runs smoothly at all times. You will wear lots of different hats and be an integral part of the team, performing various administrative tasks to support business needs.   • Be a welcoming and friendly face for the company, greeting and assisting visitors when they arrive at the office and promptly notifying employees of their arrival
  • Enter visitors into building security system, ensuring a positive and seamless experience at all times
  • Ensure the office consistently runs smoothly, keeping track of inventory, important meetings and other events that require pre-planning and support
  • Facilitate ordering, unpacking, organizing, and stocking of all office supplies and snacks
  • Be the point of contact and coordinate all external vendor relationships: i.e. coffee, catering, cleaning service, water supply, etc.
  • Place catering ordering for meetings as needed, including set up and break down, pro-actively offering to assist as meetings arise
  • Set up conference rooms for high level meetings as needed; assist employees and executives in booking conference rooms
  • Assist employees, executives and executive assistants in various tasks as needed related to the office
  • Spearhead planning for various events such as holiday parties, office celebrations, etc.
  • Build effect relationships with building staff to ensure efficient service and attention to office matters as needed, i.e. reserving freight elevator
  • Pro-actively manage repairs and suggestions for office improvements; log issues and requests promptly and ensure timely follow thru
  • Support on-boarding of new hires by offering office tours, setting up ID badges, being a resource for information, etc.
  • Work closely with operations employees based out of our warehouse facility to ensure seamless experience when doing drop offs/pick ups at office


  • BA/BS plus 1-2 years of relevant experience at a like minded company
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, roll up your sleeves type environment; self-starter, doer personality who will take initiative from day 1
  • Extremely positive and upbeat, someone who view challenges as opportunities
  • Strong and highly effective communicator
  • Team player who is willing to do anything to support the team and business
  • Extremely organized and strong, astute attention to detail
  • Must exhibit respect and understanding of the importance of confidentiality
  • Must have a scrappy approach to problem solving and a can-do attitude
