EIP is seeking a receptionist to support the front desk and operations of our New York office. This person will be the first touch point for employees, clients, and office visitors alike when coming to our NY office. This position will be tasked with a diverse set of responsibilities and should be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. This position will be based in our New York office 5 days a week and reports to our Events & Operations Associate.


Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Manage the office reception and warmly welcome office visitors
  • Manage and execute day-to-day office operations in our NY office
  • Assist our remote offices as needed (Washington DC, San Francisco, and Palm Beach)
  • Order and restock snacks/food/beverages and organize team lunches daily
  • Be point person for office IT requests, maintaining our office Wi-Fi, video set up, conference room AV, etc.
  • Maintain office supplies, inventory management, and place supply orders as needed
  • Manage the firm-wide lunch ordering system
  • Manage the firm-wide office and desk booking system
  • Support internal culture office events (speaker series, lunch & learns, etc.)
  • Manage office and firm internal calendar
  • Support execution and planning of all in-office events
  • Update and send out the weekly firm newsletter
  • Support operations and HR on administrative projects and ad hoc assignments

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 1-3 years of receptionist or administrative experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, operations is a plus
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be personable, trustworthy, and dependable with high EQ and IQ
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment in which parameters change often
  • Experience planning and managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Self-starter with a go-getter attitude and boundless energy
