Recruiter

We’re looking for a highly-motivated, dynamic, energetic full-cycle recruiter to join our growing recruiting team and help lead Telltale’s efforts to source, recruit, hire and on-board, the best talent in the world. Our team manages the candidate application process from the first point of contact through on-boarding. We are seeking someone who can thrive in a fast paced environment. To be successful, you must possess a passion for building and maintaining strong professional relationships and developing a deep understanding of our business and its unique challenges. 

 Responsibilities:

  •  Proven track record in delivering end to end recruitment activities in a fast paced environment across multiple disciplines.
  • Responsible for recruiting assigned open positions and managing respective candidates as they move through each step of the hiring process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to discuss current and forecasted hiring needs and prioritize as necessary.
  • Update/write job descriptions, job briefs, and job postings to attract the appropriate candidates.
  • Develop position specific recruiting strategies and utilize a variety of sourcing techniques and recruiting methods to generate a pool of qualified, high caliber candidates.
  • Source, engage, screen and interview qualified candidates and provide feedback to hiring managers.
  • Educate and excite candidates about appropriate opportunities at Telltale and ensure the best possible candidate experience.
  • Drive the recruiting process forward by problem solving obstacles or challenges that arise and knowing when and how to involve others as necessary.
  • Ability to facilitate conversations and drive consensus among multiple stakeholders to bring hiring issues to a successful conclusion.
  • Track, report, and analyze strategic recruiting effectiveness and  pursuing opportunities to refine and improve process, identifying potential trends/issues as appropriate
  • Consistently and accurately track staffing activity metrics, data reports and performance results and provide reports to Lead Recruiter, Director of Human Resources, Head of Studio, and key stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Drive offer process, including offer approval, extending offers and closing candidates.
  • Assist Recruiting Team members on additional requisitions depending on the needs of the business.
  • Liaison with Recruiting Coordinators and HR on New Hire & Onboarding process.
  • Attend conventions, conferences, associations, organizations, universities and colleges to provide visibility to the studio and create a pipeline of candidates
  • Act as an internal and external representative of Telltale and our talent acquisition team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high growth, dynamic environment with a focus on technical and creative recruiting
  • Must have in-house recruiting experience in a high-tech or creative environment.  Previous experience in the entertainment or video game industry preferred.
  • Ability to meet recruiting goals and deadlines.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to understand and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Trained in interviewing techniques, preferably behavioral Interviewing with excellent direct sourcing, analytical and research skills.
  • Demonstrated social media savviness with extensive online networks and participation (online forums, user groups, etc).
  • Good discretion­ – demonstrates sound judgment in dealing with confidential dialogues and information
  • Strong facilitation skills to enable fruitful discussions among colleagues and excellent negotiating skills required.
  • Ability to work successfully with collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
  • A motivated self-starter that works well with a variety of working styles and personalities.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple searches and projects; excellent  time management, organizational skills and great attention to detail
  • Diligent follow through and execution
  • Extensive experience sourcing candidates and proven experience successfully filling technical and creative positions.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Knowledge of various visas and work authorization processes.
  • Strong computer skills using MS Office and the internet and experience with applicant tracking systems; preferably Jobvite
