Recruiting Coordinator

BuzzFeed is the social news and entertainment company, providing the most shareable breaking news, original reporting, entertainment and video across the social web. 

We are currently looking to add a Recruiting Coordinator to our People Team, partnering with our Recruiters to ensure that our high-volume recruiting environment also remains high-quality! The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in a related field so that she or he can come in and kick butt from day one.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule a high volume of phone screens, on-site interviews, interview round-ups, and more
  • Prepare, post and manage requisitions in our ATS
  • Coordinate candidate travel and manage reimbursement programs
  • Assist with the BuzzFeed summer internship program
  • Coordinate career fairs, employer branding events, and in-office events like meetups 
  • Complete candidate reference and background checks as needed
  • Create, organize, and maintain offer letters and additional new hire paperwork

Requirements:

  • Incredible organization and communication skills, combined with an eye for detail
  • At least one year of professional experience, preferably in the media or tech industries
  • Immediate familiarity with Google Apps, especially Calendar
  • Familiarity with ATSs, ideally Greenhouse
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • A healthy sense of humor
  • Must be a team player
