Recruiting Coordinator

ZOZI is expanding its recruiting team and we are looking for an individual with enthusiasm and can-do energy who loves working with people and changing their lives by connecting them to careers they’ve always dreamed of! We are looking for a brilliant recruiting coordinator who will interface with all departments and candidates as they go through their interview process. This recruiting coordinator will be the gatekeeper and face of the company and our recruiting team so we need someone with exceptional energy and people skills!

We are looking for someone who has worked in a recruiting coordinator role previously or who has had a customer/people facing position in a fast paced environment before. This is a role with a lot of visibility and responsibility as our recruiting coordinator will be critical to helping us hire exceptional talent for across every single department in the company including engineering, product and sales. We are looking for someone with a passion for people, an eagerness to learn, and a successful track record of initiative.

This is an opportunity to get exposure to a variety of people and roles while working shoulder to shoulder with hiring managers and executives. This role would report directly to our Director of Recruiting and help be part of the magic to help build a great company with great people.


What you’ll do:

  • Embrace being the face of the company as the gatekeeper to all phone screens and onsites interviews that are scheduled at ZOZI. You will be an ambassador for ZOZI which means ensuring that candidates
    • Have an extremely memorable and positive interview experience
    • Receive communication in a time-sensitive manner
    • Get greeted when they arrive for onsites
  • Scheduling is the main focus of this role as a seamless scheduling and coordination of interviews will make sure that candidates have the best experience possible when interviewing with ZOZI
    • This includes managing candidate interviews and coordination of onsite visits, including: scheduling, securing conference rooms, working with hiring managers to accommodate high priority profiles and arranging travel.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing processes and/or implement new ones
  • Work with recruiters and hiring managers to manage candidate pipelines and maintain all job postings
  • Work with the Director of Recruiting to manage interviewer tracking and training
  • Provide support as needed for recruiting events (i.e. university recruiting, internal tech talks, etc.)
  • Maintain integrity of candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System Greenhouse.io
  • Take on further responsibilities such as light sourcing for high priority roles
  • Manage and own the 1st Day On-Boarding process for New Hires including
    • Prepping equipment
    • Preparing onsite kit
    • Scheduling necessary lunches and 1st day outreach
  • Demonstrate initiative and proactiveness by coming up with solutions and interesting

  • Work experience, preferably in a scheduling or administrative capacity
  • Previous experience using Greenhouse or other applicant tracking systems
  • Proficient in Google Apps (Mail, Calendar, Docs, etc.)
