Regional Business Director - Food Service Distribution

ROLE
This position will play a crucial role in the growth of our Sales & Partnerships team and Hampton Creek overall.  You will own, manage, and develop Food Service distributor relationships that will result in sales growth and broad business impact.  You will be partnering with and providing support for all corporate distribution initiatives, on both a local and national level. While you’re working with distributors to meet objectives and goals, you will help drive and develop strategy across various levels of the business.  You will also be able to leverage syndicated data to direct business insights and create actionable plans for distribution partners. Additionally, you will utilize financial levers such as promotion, pricing, and trade spend.  The role  will work cross-functionally with Partnerships, Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Finance, and other teams in meeting the overall Hampton Creek business unit sales goals.

RESPONSIBILITES
Deliver on distributor specific sales objectives aligned with the broader goals of the Hampton Creek Food Service team
Develop sales objectives consistent with Food Service objectives
Help create and drive business plans to develop profitable, value-add growth while further establishing strong relationships with our distribution partnersPartner on the development of Sales and Marketing collateral for Distribution Account Managers, and communicate them nationally
Provide training as required at a region level
Review regional activities and opportunities on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.)
Update CRM with documentation of customer and sales activity in the Sales System assigned by the Food Service team30-50% travel required

ATTRIBUTES
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
3- 5 years of similar experience including consultative selling.
7+ years overall work experience including sales and management experience in the Food Service Industry
Demonstrative ability to think strategically regarding company and partner opportunities
Analytical approach to information, identifying opportunistic insights and actionable strategies
Work in an integrated environment, partnering with different internal teams
Possess strong computer skills in Excel, Word, Powerpoint and CRM platforms (as appropriate)
Desire and passion to work in a Start-Up environment
