About the team: This team is part of Merchant Lending vertical and they cater to the Merchant loans section. They have the ownership of merchant cash advance sales.

About the role: This is a B2B Sales role which requires high level of people management, training, grooming the sales Team and generating revenue and driving P/L and growth for the assigned region.

Expectations/ Requirements:

⦁The role  essentially requires the selected candidates to manage a zone independently with 2-4 Programme Managers with a high level of business ownership to grow the lending business by complementing and upselling with the current distribution team.
⦁Responsible for the merchant cash advance Sales in the zone
⦁Adept at handling indirect distribution teams ,knowledge of financial services business, particularly distribution of financial products- will be an added advantage ,viz Unsecured Business Loans, Personal Loans ,Insurance, CASA , payments etc.
⦁Understanding of use of digital tools and technology in growing distribution business along with excellent communication and good interpersonal skills.
⦁Should be good at presentation skills 
⦁Problem solving skills and ability to deliver with multitasking ,Great at collaborations 
⦁People-oriented personality with a high level of people management, presentation and training , grooming skill sets and great at negotiating and influencing to sell the lending products ALSO with the existing distribution team whose primary KRA would be different
⦁Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified areas/zones along with engaging and capturing the mind share of the indirect team hierarchy for better product sale 
⦁Conduct regular and detailed business discussions ,reviews with the team across hierarchy to ensure business strategies are executed and Budgeted Numbers are achieved.
⦁Ensure attrition is under control and Team is motivated / guided to perform better.
⦁Ability to handle indirect large teams under pressure and execute our business requirement via mind share and pull factor towards the product.
⦁Growth Mindset and good at training / mentoring 
⦁Willingness to experiment and improve continuously.
⦁Drive passion to build winning teams.
⦁High degree of process orientation.

Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role:

⦁MBA with 10-15 years of relevant experience in Direct Sales, Business Development and relationship building in retail  industry.
⦁Ability to handle a team.
⦁Good communication skills.
⦁Good understanding of MS Office tools.
⦁Growth Mindset.
⦁Willingness to experiment and improve continuously.
