Job Summary
 
We’re seeking an energetic salesperson who loves the idea of generating opportunities and revenue from new-logo accounts!  Does your intellectual curiosity drive deep sales discovery?  Do you consistently talk value with prospects rather than features? Are you the kind of sales professional who meets and exceeds assigned revenue bookings objectives? Responsibilities
 
·       Engage with Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRA’s) and Background and Tenant Screening companies in your assigned territory and identify, through “discovery” conversations, their business objectives, requirements and pain points, budgets, approval process and timelines for making decisions.
·       Utilize excellent discovery and listening skills to identify issues, determine business consequences and present solutions and build credible relationships with prospects
·       Develop new business by presenting the TazWorks Platform value proposition.
·       Gain customer agreement our solutions provide value and help FI’s achieve their objectives, meet their requirements and address their pain points.
·       Articulate the vision of how TazWorks solutions accelerate trust and deliver value to customers.
·       Develop and manage accurate and up to date revenue forecasts.
·       Build and maintain a pipeline large enough to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
·       Prospect consistently. Following the TazWorks/MeridianLink “Prospecting Cadence,” for your role consistently achieve the required activity levels.  Track all activity in CRM
·       Self-generate enough leads (SGLs) to build pipeline required to meet / exceed quarterly and annual sales quota.
·       Follow up and manage leads generated through partnerships and marketing using TazWorks Lead management SOP.
·       Coordinate prospecting plans with the assigned TazWorks/MeridianLink Business development team.
·       Develop a strategic approach to assigned territory.
·       Analyze software configurations, develop proposals and demonstrate software
·       Perform the duties and support other territories when required.
·       Always maintain the highest levels of professionalism representing TazWorks/MeridianLink to the marketplace.
·       Update and maintain contact management system (CRM).
·       Work closely with your VP of Sales on strategy and revenue growth forecasting
·       Meet or Exceed annual sales quota
·       Build positive long-term referenceable relationships that highlight the Company’s value proposition in the marketplace
 
 
Qualifications
 
·       5+ years of software SaaS sales experience, ideally with experience selling background screening software
·       Proven success developing and delivering on a sales strategy in a complex ecosystem
·       A history of high performance – meeting / exceeding quotas
·       Contacts at CRA’s and Background and Tenant Screening companies ideal, but not required
·       The ability to skillfully demonstrate software and articulate the features, advantages and benefits that are in line with the customer’s buying criteria
·       Experience working from a virtual office
·       Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
·       Proficient with Microsoft Office products
·       Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field
·       Ability to travel when circumstances allow safe travel

Salary range of $78,100 - $110,300 with commission potential. [It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.] The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
