Scopic is seeking a skilled Remote Lead Software Project Manager to join our team of 250+ professionals in over 40 countries. We are looking for a proactive, data-driven professional we can trust with the rigorous task of ensuring our projects are running as effectively and efficiently as possible. This is an ideal position for motivated individuals looking for a diverse, fast-paced, fully remote environment. This is a full-time, home-based position.

 

The Remote Lead Software Project Manager would be responsible for the professional growth of our Project Managers and for helping them become better at what they do. This is an ideal position for a senior Project Manager with a lot of experience in different methodologies, projects, and Project Management problems under their belt. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and assist Project Managers in their work 
  • Mentor and tutor Project Managers to reach higher seniority levels 
  • Help Project Managers set up their quarterly/annual goals 
  • Help Project Managers kick off heir projects and act as a point of contact for any high-level project escalations
  • Lead or help the creation of project management materials (policies, trainings, guides) 
  • Help with educating about and enforcing new policies from other company departments/roles

  • Delegate project tasks to junior staff members, based on their experience.
  • Perceptive and understanding, able to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Highly adept at detecting and preventing risks and solving problems
  • Flexible with different task assignments

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field, Master’s degree preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in full-cycle software project management
  • Strong knowledge of the SDLC and how software applications are created
  • Familiarity with creating specs and wireframes for software projects
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the aptitude to learn new skills quickly
  • Demonstrated risk and client management expertise
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Basic technical knowledge and/or experience in the IT industry
  • Current residence in a European or American time zone (GMT+3–GMT-6)
  • PMP, PRINCE2, and SCRUM certifications are a bonus

Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience. Hourly and salaried positions available. Employees are paid monthly via wire transfer.
