Job Description

CipherHealth is looking for a Renewals Manager with 5+ years of experience in a SaaS environment to help own, coordinate, and execute on client renewals within a cross-functional team environment.  This individual will have experience reviewing legal agreements (e.g., MSAs, Contracts, Statement of Work, etc.) and have the ability to effectively communicate critical details pertaining to such agreements to leadership and executive teams.


Overall Job Summary

As a Renewals Manager you will be responsible for reviewing contract details across our customer base, and at times, drafting amendments, addendums, change requests, and other items needed to support the execution of renewal agreements according to our renewals management process. Your focus will be working closely with internal teams to ensure our customers are under contract and meeting the necessary milestones and goals essential to the success of the customer and their existing contract. As part of this effort, you will be responsible for making sure CipherHealth is positioned to maintain a high level of customer retention through timely account reviews, QBRs, and other activities needed to make sure we renew customer contracts. You will also work alongside our Customer Success and Sales teams to help identify opportunities where we can expand business within our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to:

  • Work cross functionally with the Senior and Executive leadership teams to manage and evolve the renewals process
  • Keep renewal records up to date as well as management and oversight of our renewals forecast
  • Develop and execute renewal selling strategies
  • Support the continued evolution of a Renewals playbook
  • Ability to own, manage, and execute renewals including cross functional work with Sales, Implementation, Customer Success, and Finance teams
  • Ability to manage cross functional teams and drive outcomes
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers on account planning and aligning quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to the customer journey with new opportunities to grow the relationship
  • Support Customer Success team in identifying, managing, and mitigating account risk in support of renewing accounts
  • Help create and execute on plans to ensure accounts are referenceable
  • Properly qualify expansion opportunities


  • Deep understanding and experience reviewing, editing, drafting, and executing MSAs, contracts, amendments, addendums, and/or change orders
  • Experience managing account records in a SaaS environment
  • Highly energized team player
  • Experience and comfort in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization

  • Bachelor’s Degree
