Conduct an assessment of the organizational reporting requirement and existing operational report systems to develop a current reporting profile for the agency.
Create a target profile based on the assessment. This profile should include robust capabilities and be fully compliant with National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework and Federal Information Security Modernization Act of 2014 (FISMA) objectives.
Compare the current profile and the target profile to determine gaps, and then identify resources, mechanisms and tasks necessary to address the identified gaps.
Recommend and create a cohesive single reporting platform that can integrate select data from the various data sources used by the company. This platform should be able to produce scheduled and ad hoc reports
Train fellow employees on the reporting functions of the new reporting platform.
Experience conducting evaluations of various data and reporting environments to include but not limited to: Microsoft SSRS, OLTP, ETL, SQL databases, Dynamics and Access
Experience retrieving report data from various sources and successfully architecting reports that are accurate, flexible and repeatable.
Experience develping reporting platforms that can produce a robust series of reports based on current needs
Experiece training/transferring knowledge of reporting functions to agency employees
5 years experience working directly with small to medium government agencies.
Have or held completed public trust background check within past 3 years
