Requirements Manager

The Job:

This position will ensure the appropriate management of technical requirements across multiple products in multiple product-lines. This will include running the critical change management processes for requirements, when changes are produced for a host of reasons by a host of people.  You will work collaboratively with product managers, product owners, designers, developers, and quality engineers to make our products more desirable. The Requirements Manager will work alongside internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.

Requirements and Skills: 

  • Proven working experience in requirements for software functions across multiple products
  • Proven experience of owning and managing Change Control processes
  • Understanding of system engineering and UX design principles; including user stories, use cases and requirements
  • Ability to ensure requirement coverage for product and product-lines are appropriate
  • Experience of reporting at all levels, internally and externally
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts
  • Excellent written skills in English
  • Basic familiarity with the software development lifecycle and software development
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • At least 5 years of relevant process experience working on major product releases
  • Experience working closely with designers, product managers and developers
  • B.S./B.A. in related field or equivalent experience

Nice to Have Skills: 

  • Management or team leadership experience
