We are recruiting a Research Manager to join our growing Digital Research Solutions team, working to support our research teams in adopting digital methodologies across the globe.

Background on the role

FMCG companies are increasingly looking for solutions that maximise their ability to tap into the ‘voice of the consumer’ whilst still being pragmatic and efficient to run. In parallel, we’re seeing a general shift in clients looking for more creative and tech-fuelled approaches (e.g. embedding video, online communities, harnessing social data, voice surveys etc.)..

We are now looking to recruit a creative and resourceful individual to help manage a team in delivering these capabilities.

What will you be doing?

A DRS manager will provide support and guidance on research projects that utilise the latest technologies. They will ensure that the research design, analysis and interpretation of results, fulfil the clients’ needs.

They will need a good understanding of all the digital tools (full training will be provided) used within the team, with the ability to speak confidently and clearly about them to less tech savvy clients and internal teams.

They will be able to manage several direct reports, workloads and flexible project timings.

Additional duties include:

  • Providing support and advice to others in the DRS team helping them to develop themselves for career growth.
  • Take a lead role in coaching juniors in team and monitoring their development.

Requirements

Previous experience with any ResTech platforms ( eg. online community tools, video, social listening, text analytics, chatbots, etc.) is preferable, although relevant training will be provided across offerings

  • A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to figure out solutions to challenges
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • A helpful and friendly manner in dealing with internal research teams
  • Analytical skills in creating insight from large amounts of information
  • Storytelling and insight-driven reporting skills
  • Ability to manage and delegate
