About the Position

The Retail Marketing Manager will drive brand awareness and sales through our vendor and retail channels by creating and managing our omnichannel marketing programs. With this position, you will play a pivotal role in our growing luxury brand's continued development and expansion. You are comfortable with working cross-functionally both remotely and from time to time in person. With this position, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you will utilize your skillsets of creative problem solving, collaboration, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.  

This full-time position may be based in either New York (preferred) or Chicago. There is an expectation that you will work in the office a few days a month, slight travel may be required but not frequently. This position will be reporting to the president of Tom Ford Watch Company. Key partners include sales, marketing, e-commerce, and operations teams.


Budget planning & execution

  • Analyze industry and competitor trends to develop a profitable global channel marketing plan
  • Collaborate with the regional sales team to support/manage the daily strategy and direction for budget usage.
  • Strategic-minded approach for the control and planning of the channel marketing spend.
  • Provide risk mitigation solutions and inform the leadership of any potential threats to the plan.

Marketing planning

  • Increase sales and revenue through the development and execution of channel/country/global marketing programs
  • Monitor, understand, and communicate best practices, market trends, industry standards, competitors, and new opportunities cross-functionally
  • Manage channel customer sales contracts and agreements
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement by evaluating existing marketing programs and recommending changes to the sales and marketing teams.

Global Marketing Coordination

  • Ensure alignment with the Global Marketing team by participating in key meetings.
  • Partner with the Director of Marketing & Communications to support the execution of PR programs in the global market.

Development of in-store program

  • Lead the development of a global in-store display program, serving as the key contact for suppliers and securing an ongoing development of the program.
  • Ensure that customers are up to date with new products and enhancements.

Channel Training and Exhibitions

  • Partner with Account Executive to lead the development and execution of training programs for both sales teams and vendors.
  • Attend, develop and execute promotional events such as trade exhibitions

Platform Management

  • Utilize third-party platforms to manage the setup and implementation of new models
  • Drive revenue by analyzing sales, inventory, and advertising/promotion initiatives across third-party platforms. 


  • BA/BS or MA/MS in a relevant field, Masters in Business Administration, or higher degrees in marketing or related fields – preferred not required
  • Minimum of 5 years in relevant channel marketing roles with consumer good experience
    • Experience in technology, luxury, and/or branded goods industries is a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years of global marketing experience
  • Ability to create engaging and strategic marketing programs
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Positive and collaborative approach
