The Retail Operations Executive will reside as part of the Retail Operations Team within the ShopBack Financial Services Group. As part of the team, the executive will be at the forefront in supporting and enabling the team’s mandate in driving the success of In-Store merchant onboarding from planning to execution. Working hours for this role will be Saturday - Wednesday, 11am - 8pm.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively across the organisation with Marketing and Commercial Team to support In-Store onboarding planning
  • Support external stakeholder management with various agencies and vendors to coordinate In-Store onboarding planning
  • Support the Retail Operations Team for In-Store onboarding execution activities
  • Support operations and analyse data across spreadsheets and data sources in order to identify gaps and continuously improve the retail operation process
  • Any additional ad-hoc requests to support the team

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Fast and proactive learner that is willing to provide fresh perspectives to the team
  • Highly motivated problem solver - forward thinking and autonomous
  • Meticulous with strong critical and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An intermediate competency in Excel/Google Sheets. Preferably be able understand and utilize various formula functionalities (e.g. TEXT, LOOKUP, IF) in order to manage and analyze data from multiple sources as part of the retail operations. 
  • Basic SQL and data visualization tool competency is preferred
  • Prior experience in managing and liaising with multiple stakeholders is preferred
  • Prior exposure to a startup environment or other fast-paced industries is preferred

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understanding of the In-Store onboarding lifecycle from Planning to Execution to Measurement
  • Hands-on experience in managing multiple stakeholders across tight deadlines
