The revenue operations team is responsible for supporting the sales and contracting process, establishing and executing accounting policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of worldwide revenue in a hyper-growth environment.  The revenue manager will report to the Director of Revenue and Finance Operations to implement operational and accounting processes to support the company’s growth.  The revenue manger will exercise judgment and make critical decisions to support the sales process.

Responsibilities:

Plan, design, implement, and track compliance of the new revenue Standard, ASC 606, and other revenue related initiatives

Actively participate in contract negotiations, understand and interpret business cases including ability to develop & use fallback options to maximize the Company’s operational and financial position

Work cross functionally to provide support and guidance in determining proper accounting for product offerings and evolving revenue models 

Be a global partner with subject matter expertise in revenue and work diligently on finding solutions to critical operational and accounting issues. Develop and maintain working relationships across Customer Service, Legal, Sales, and Product Management

Assist with quarterly and annual internal/external audit requests


Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

At least 5 years of professional experience including high-technology industry experience on revenue recognition. Ideal candidate would have a combination of public company and Big 4 public accounting experience.

Excellent understanding of GAAP accounting principles with a strong knowledge in revenue recognition principles, ASC 606, 985-605, 605-25, and SEC reporting regulations.

Ability to work with senior management and influence decision making

Excellent project management, oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, analytical, organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement

Solid PC skills with excellent Excel skills
