WHAT YOU’LL DO
* Robotics interns at Anduril work on real and important problems facing the team.
* Previous intern projects have included:
* Building an automated analysis platform for evaluating robot performance
* Integrating and characterizing experimental new cameras
* Incorporating differential GPS into one of our robots
* Overhauling a model predictive control dynamics model to improve flight behavior on one of our robots
* Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Robotics, Computer Science, or any related field
* Approaching Junior year or beyond at the time of the internship
* Must be returning to school at the end of their internship to continue their academic studies
* Proven understanding of data structures, algorithms, and concurrency
* Experience troubleshooting and analyzing deployed software systems
* Strong experience in statically typed, high-performance languages like C++, Rust, Haskell, etc
* U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
* Experience in one or more of the following: motion planning, perception, localization, mapping, controls, and related system performance metrics.
* Python, Rust, and/or Go experience
* Experience programming for embedded and physical devices
* Complex frame transformation problems, such as target localization or multi degree of freedom robotic arms
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in all offers and are considered part of Anduril’s total compensation package.
