The role in a nutshell:

As a Sales Associate in our B2C team, you’ll be joining our passionate and ambitious team during an extremely exciting time for the business as we are going through a period of high-growth.

In a fast-paced environment, you’ll be responsible for supporting our parents to find the right tutor for their child’s needs. We pride ourselves on our amazing customer experience. At MyTutor over 95% of our reviews are at 5* and we have had some amazing feedback on Trustpilot!

Previous experience in the education industry is not needed for this role, we have amazing in-house specialists and top talent from the industry who will be around to train and develop you!

Our Sales Associates at MyTutor work flexible shifts - 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day - to ensure the team meets its target.


What you can expect:

  • To play a crucial role in supporting parents when finding the right tutor for their child (using phone, email and live chat), matching the parent with a tutor for an introductory Free Meeting.
  • To act as an account manager following up with parents after their free meeting to assist them with booking their first lesson.
  • You will be building key relationships with your parents ensuring that they are getting the most out of MyTutor.
  • To work with the Consumer Sales Manager to continuously iterate on communication and processes, ensuring we are providing the best service for parents and the best results for the business.
  • To be working cross-functionally across the business providing feedback about trends and patterns of parent needs to our Product and Consumer Marketing teams.

Requirements

The type of person we would love to meet:

  • You have some experience working in a sales position or with customers.
  • You are passionate about education and the idea of helping parents find the perfect tutor to help their child succeed.
  • Has excellent communication skills and can empathise with customer needs.
  • You’re confident working with each parent on a one-to-one basis, ensuring their specific questions and concerns are addressed.
  • You are a team player and can work efficiently with a team to achieve targets, whilst ensuring attention to detail and quality of service.
  • Someone that is happy giving feedback collaboratively and effectively across all teams within a business.
