The Enterprise Sales Development Representative is a strategic member of the enterprise sales team who is responsible for prospecting to our target account base, positioning the value of the Numerify platform and solutions, and securing highly qualified meetings with senior level contacts in large IT organizations.  This is a challenging, exciting role that will test your sales skills, strategic thinking capabilities, and closing techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Uncover and develop qualified sales opportunities through well-planned demand generation and prospecting efforts into targeted accounts
  • Identify a prospect’s business needs and articulate how Numerify’s solutions can address those needs
  • Work with assigned Enterprise Account Executives to develop target accounts, persona messaging and prospecting strategy for the territory
  • Utilize Numerify tools to generate interest, track engagement, make outbound calls, and secure meetings
  • Set appointments and ensure a smooth handoff to the assigned Account Executive
  • Develop and organize in-depth territory and account knowledge including contact information, current product ownership, current and future technology plans, and areas of opportunity
  • Meet and/or exceed Sales Development metrics for securing qualified meetings, prospecting activity, and adding qualified opportunities to the funnel 
  • Support sales and marketing teams at industry events
  • Occasional travel <10%

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of one-year B2B sales development experience, preferably within an enterprise environment
  • Excited about selling, negotiating, winning deals. Persistent and resilient, not intimidated by calling senior level contacts or hearing “no”
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident, driven, self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, likes to try new things, doesn’t need to wait for guidance
  • Motivated by working in a results-oriented, metrics-driven organization
  • Proficient in MS Office, Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, or similar tools
  • Comfortable in an inside sales model. This position will not be client facing.
  • Experience with messaging/selling IT and/or analytics software solutions into large organizations (>$5B revenue) is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with account-based sales/marketing techniques is a plus
  • BS or BA degree. Strong business acumen
