Sales Development Representative, Commercial

We are looking for a driven Sales Development Representative “SDR” to generate new customer opportunities and to play a big part in Yugabyte’s growth. Our SDRs identify & engage with mid-market and startup Founders, CTOs, and Engineering leaders to uncover their pain points and collaborate with sales & sales engineering to make prospects successful with YugabyteDB. This is an opportunity to join a small (but mighty!) team with significant growth potential and upside.

This is a hunter role. Please identify and share (under the "Additional Information" section) 5 prospects (with LinkedIn profile) that you think would be interested in YugabyteDB along with your reasons why.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute creative sales campaigns across multiple channels
  • Earn trust with new and existing prospects through thoughtful communication
  • Collaborate with sales, sales engineering, and marketing teams to generate and close opportunities

Interview Process: Health and safety remain a top priority for all of our roles. As such, all Yugabyte interviews are held virtually, so we can all continue doing our part with social distancing and containment efforts. Although we are based in Silicon Valley, we hire exceptional folks wherever they are! Our process usually lasts 2-3 weeks, and consists of a phone screen, Zoom interviews including senior leaders.
