Sales Director

  • Overseeing and Managing all business activities for India Region (India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka) through overall responsibility towards Regional Board regarding sales business strategy and achieved results in term of margins, revenue, growth and acquisitions. Ensuring Annual increase in quarterly / yearly margins, revenue, growth and acquisition targets in the region
  • Standardization of Sales Processes in the region in line with the company's sales strategy and implemented across the region
  • Working in close collaboration with the Regional Head of Operator Partnership in order to align, inform and drive future actions to have better connectivity and MNO partnerships in assigned regions
  • Setting up annual / quarterly goals for the sales team in the region in line with the sales business strategy. Ensuring goals are cascaded to the Direct Reports and the team below and provide coaching in order to reach their full potential
  • Conduct Performance Management process, provide constructive feedbacks and direction to Regionals Managers, provide support and guidance on how to achieve the team KPIs
  • Growth of the sales team and talent management (defined annual hiring plans according to the planned budgets, succession planning for leaders in the assigned market, retention of the top performers on leading positions)
  • Ensuring collaboration of the team within the unit and between different units, close collaboration with the MD, through regular reporting and department meetings that result in better results in the region
  • Build an environment of trust and co-operation through open communication and feedback between the teams and support and back the team during difficult situations
  • Effective Budgeting – proposed budget vs actual results
  • Experience: 5+ Years of experience as a Business Director
  • Location: Bangalore/Mumbai/Delhi
  • Leadership Skills: proven record of leading high performance multi department teams
  • Strategy Skills: Leadership; Negotiation; Customer Orientation; Decision Making; Team development; Analytical thinking; Attention to detail; Critical thinking
