Vigilant has recently finished a fundraising fueled by our significant growth in sales. Sales are expected to grow 2.2x in 2023 and at least 3x in 2024.
Vigilant is providing a great opportunity for an inexperienced, ambitious, extraverted engineer who wants a tremendous opportunity for growth. This is the company's first technical sales hire and will learn directly from very experienced management team. The new hire will not only support the sales process but develop internal processes to ensure customers are satisfied throughout the entire sales process. Lots of hard work resulting in lots of growth to fast track the new hire's career.
New Hire will receive lots of training but needs to understand networking, TCIP/IP, wired and wireless.
Responsibilities
- Consultative Selling. engage prospects together with the sales team in a consultative sales process to address the client's needs and challenges. Make the set-up easy to understand and achievable for the non-technical buyer
- Discovery. Work closely with prospects early in the sales process to gain a deep understanding of their technical capabilities and business processes and propose how best leverage them.
- Opportunity evaluation. Make sure the solution meets the client's needs and be involved in presenting the value and ROI while translating basic technical concepts to prospects
- Demos of product. Prepare and present tailored customer demonstrations to achieve customer wins
- Product Knowledge. Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to maintain a deep understanding of Vigilant's products and core technology.
- Market Feedback. Continuously gather product and market feedback to guide new products.
- Customer Success. Streamline knowledge transfer from the sales process through the implementation phase.
