With a state of the art drag and drop programming tool, plug and play hardware, and an innovative standards-aligned curriculum, Cubit gets both students and educators building, programming and creating in minutes.



The role:

We are looking for a Sales Lead with a community outreach stance to develop strategic relationships with educators, administrators, and edtech industry partners to grow Cubit’s brand awareness and market presence in the education space. You will be Cubit’s evangelist and first point of contact.

 

You will be our first Sales focused hire and will be responsible for growing the team as our needs scale. Responsibilities include: generating new leads, growing Cubit’s sales by managing inside and outside sales channels, managing customer relationships, and developing new business opportunities in the education space.



Our ideal candidate has:

  • Ability to authentically connect with educators, administrators and families from diverse backgrounds
  • Relevant experience in education or edtech industry connected to children
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, technology, or education
  • 4-5+ years of proven sales and account management experience
  • Ability to analyze consumer data and articulate data into actionable plans
  • Effective negotiation skills with the ability to deliver clear and concise messaging
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Friendly and positive attitude
  • Able to work and communicate well with team members
  • Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timeline and budgets with business acumen
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques.



You will:

The following responsibilities will be fulfilled in collaboration with the CEO and CSO to develop innovative sales and marketing strategies, anticipate consumer support needs, and inform development.

  • Sell the Cubit kit and platform to leaders within schools, districts, libraries, etc.
  • Drive regional lead acquisition for district wide accounts
  • Drive regional lead acquisition with top administrators and educators
  • Develop prospective client database leveraging customer relationship software
  • Follow up with clients to ensure continued robust use of Cubit STEAM platform, identify professional development opportunities and future purchasing
  • Support educators through coaching and conducting consistent debriefs
  • Manage feedback stream from customers
  • Effectively communicate Cubit key features, brand messaging and educational solutions
  • Educate clients through on site product demos and online technologies
  • Develop strategic relationships with leaders in education and edtech
  • Keep current of education technology and trends in education
