Fairwinds is looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager to lead our Business Development Representative (BDR) team. This role will report into our Sales Leadership Team.
The Sales Manager of the Business Development Team will act as player-coach who can lead by example. As a manager your job is threefold: (1) Lead a team of BDRs to create qualified opportunities for the sales team, (2) Train other members of the BDR team, and (3) take on operational and administrative tasks to help the BDR team perform and exceed expectations. You will be a source of knowledge and best practices amongst the BDRs. You will help to train, onboard, and mentor new BDRs with the help of the BDR Enablement team. You are obsessed with making customers happy. You know that the slightest trouble in getting started with a product can ruin customer happiness.
