In October 2019, Sinch acquired myElefant, a mobile engagement SaaS platform that has built a cloud-based software platform for mobile engagement using rich, interactive messaging. The company has pioneered the use of Rich SMS and is an early adopter of conversational messaging technologies like RCS, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp. Combined with Sinch’s personalized video offering it now forms the Sinch for Marketing solution designed for enterprises’ marketing & CRM teams.

The essence of the role

Following our success, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to support the growth and business development of Sinch for Marketing in Spain. This is a great opportunity to have a real impact and help grow the business further!

We believe you are a highly motivated salesperson with a strong passion for building and developing robust customer relations and finding and closing business with new and existing customers.

In this role, you need to have regional in-depth industry experience and being on-top of what is happening in the market is essential. Ideally you have worked in the industry long enough to have established good connections and have the experience of understanding how to manage the art of sales. Naturally we expect you to have an excellent business mind and a solid understanding of value-based selling.

Your main areas of responsibility will be:

  • Design new sales activities for mapped out and identified potential future customers
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
  • Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers within the organisation
  • Defining customer requirements and produce proposals
  • Help develop and maintain account plans, identifying opportunities and forecast sales

Travel: business is made together with customers and therefor traveling within Spain, Portugal and potentially Italy is a natural part of the role.

Who are you?

This is a "Hunter" Sales role. To be successful you have the ability to create relationships with decision makers high in the organisations. You are a Self-starter with the ability to work under your own initiative and drive results. Dealing with customers is key in the role and therefore you have also excellent writing, presentation and communication skills with an ability to conceptualize the technical and commercial values of our offering.

  • You have 10 years experience in selling Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and come from within the field of CRM, Mobile Marketing / Messaging (SMS A2P, Rich SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, PUSHapp etc.) or in a related field (marketing automation platforms, Campaign management platforms, emailing, mobile applications, etc.).
  • Proven sales track-record in finding and closing new deals in relevant industry
  • Industry experience from the Spanish market
  • Knowledge of the Adobe campaign and Salesforce marketing cloud ecosystem is a plus
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is essential and a third language (Italian, Portuguese) a plus
