Summary

The Sales Operations Coordinator is a new position within Pivotal’s Sales Operations organization. This individual will play an integral role in supporting our worldwide Sales organization and increasing sales rep productivity while assisting to drive the overall company strategy.

The Sales Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the timely and accurate creation of customer facing sales quotations for Pivotal’s Worldwide Sales organization.

We anticipate the scope of this role to evolve over time and to provide the opportunity for training and development for your career growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare customer quotes for software and service transactions as requested by sales reps
  • Cross functional collaboration with Business Managers, Deal Desk, and Sales Productivity Teams
  • Anticipate system issues and initiate actions to ensure quotes are created timely and efficiently
  • Drive business process improvements and initiatives with the goal of creating a best in class Quote Desk process
  • Ensure accuracy of quotes to guarantee customer satisfaction and internal execution
  • Communicate effectively across the organization
  • Create and maintain process documentation as needed
  • Ad-hoc projects as time permits

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
  • 1-2 years of applicable work experience; ideally participating in the quote-to-cash process in a subscription software company
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Must have a sense of urgency and be able to work effectively under time critical deadlines
  • Ideal candidate demonstrates confidence, good judgment and is a team player

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Salesforce (SFDC) experience
  • Experience with an ERP system (SAP, NetSuite, etc.)
