Sales Operations Manager - B2B

The Sales Operations Manager is a new role at BIOptimizers and will be a critical element of our success as we continue our retail expansion. The main responsibilities of this role are to support the development and business of our fast-growing B2B division. This role is responsible for managing projects and activity for operational aspects of our B2B sales, to ensure our sales team can focus on effective selling. This position will also serve as project leader when we onboard new retail partners, to ensure we successfully complete all onboarding steps in a timely and accurate manner.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILIES

  • Solve operational issues as we continue to grow and scale our B2B business. Lead and manage operations projects and tasks for B2B sales, including (but not limited to):
    • Lead onboarding of new retail partners
    • Develop sales demand forecasts
    • Build inventory of our B2B SKUs based upon forecasts
    • Create details for new B2B SKUs – item #, UPC, system set up, etc.
    • Set up and maintain new configurations for retail (ie, inners, case packs, master cartons)
    • Manage label creation, approval, printing & inventory for B2B SKUs
    • Manage our B2B 3PL
    • Gather information from contract manufacturers for all B2B portals such as WERCS, etc.
    • Develop and shepherd all tech requests for B2B sales needs
    • Maintain selling materials such as price lists, order forms, product sheets, merchandising aids – ensure updates are made & disseminated to team
    • Manage inventory of merchandising aids & collateral materials
    • Manage all pricing action for sales execution
    • Create new, more efficient operational processes that allow us to scale
  • Support trade marketing activities
    • Support the Chief Sales Officer in facilitating the creation of new selling and marketing materials and keeping existing materials updated
    • Serve as project manager for trade marketing projects, to ensure completion
  • Provide data and analytic support for B2B sales (depending on candidate background and experience)
    • Analyze monthly SPINS data and prepare slides for sales team usage with customers
    • Identify additional reports needed and work with the tech team to create reports
    • Assist CSO with creation of sales goals
    • Calculate monthly sales commissions
  • Provide occasional executive assistance to Chief Sales Officer

 

The ideal candidate will have the following – required to be located in the US, preferably Eastern or Central time zone:

  • PLEASE, only candidates with experience in a manufacturing company apply
  • At least 5 years’ past experience in Sales Operations in a CPG environment
  • Must have Sales Operations experience in the retail channel
  • Experience in the supplement industry is preferred but not required
  • Exceptional project management skills, organizational skill, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Driven and highly self-motivated by success 

The Details

  • Target salary: $80,000-$100,000, depending on experience.
  • Job Type: Full Time.
  • Remote: 100% so reliable internet is a must
