Salesforce Administrator

Bevi’s Salesforce Administrator plays a critical cross-functional role as the key liaison between Sales and the company’s data structure and technology platform. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications, the Salesforce Administrator is the primary administrator of Bevi’s Salesforce.com CRM and other tools. This role is an excellent opportunity for a team player looking to hone their Salesforce administration and broader Sales Operations skillset in a fast-paced, cross-functional and high-growth startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer company’s Salesforce.com CRM platform and connected support tools, ensuring data structure meets the needs both of the Sales team and the Company
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between Sales and the Company’s overall technology platform and tools that connect with Salesforce; contribute to cross-functional systems and data projects that span the entire organization
- Manage standard and customized reports and dashboards that provide actionable insight into recent and historical sales activities that drive team performance; support ad-hoc reporting content
- Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings, etc. (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules and Security)
- Monitor and Manage third party and custom integrations between Salesforce and other systems
- Manage workflow, customization, and development, suggest improvements to business processes to address strategic initiatives
- Capture and define technical / business requirements needed to achieve business initiatives and translate requirements to detailed design specifications
- Develop training plans, materials, and documentation as necessary to support Salesforce users; provide hands on training as needed
- Perform system wide and unit level testing of new functionality developed within Salesforce and guide users through user acceptance testing
- Manage Salesforce Releases (three per year), review and understand feature and functionality enhancements, test enhancements to ensure business and systems process continuity, and recommend best practices around new and existing Salesforce features
- Responsible for change set management; promoting tested & approved changes from Sandbox instances to Production
- Provide Tier 1 Support for all Salesforce users
- Support the Company’s sales and marketing strategies with territory assignment and quota targets that incentivize desired behaviors toward team and company KPIs
- Manage monthly sales commissions reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for sales performance
- Serve as primary project manager for sales-related projects
- Package and present recommendations to Leadership Team, Sales, Marketing and other teams through a balance of quantitative analysis and qualitative perspectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, Business, Finance or CS preferred
- 2-3 years of Salesforce.com Administration required
- Certified Salesforce Administrator preferred, additional certificates desirable
- Experience with Visualforce and/or Apex a plus
- Previous experience in a sales or sales support role preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills required
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to change
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
