About the role

As a member of the Sales Strategy & Operations team, you will be responsible for optimizing sales performance and efficiency through the implementation and maintenance of Salesforce.com processes and analytics. You will work directly with the CRM Manager to solve critical business challenges and own the implementation of system improvements as well as the roll-out of new features and functionality. You will lead the Sales Strategy & Operations effort to provide critical KPIs and metrics to individual users, leadership and management through the build-out of new reporting and dashboards.  This position reports to the CRM Manager and is based in New York City.

Essential functions

  • Support Salesforce usage by 100+ users, with core functionality focused on leads, opportunities, contacts, accounts, activity management and case management
  • Own dialogue with sales leadership and individual users to translate needs and requirements into Salesforce functionality
  • Spearhead design and implementation of sales leader and individual reports and dashboards
  • Develop new functionality and features in Salesforce, including the use of custom objects, custom fields, formula fields, workflows, page layouts, validation rules, assignment rules, and analytics
  • Identify opportunities for sales process improvement and overall Salesforce and related tool refinements
  • Define, implement and manage discount approval and data de-duplication strategies
  • Provide ongoing user administration support, including onboarding new users, setting up and maintaining roles, profiles, and security settings

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from top university
  • 3-5 years Salesforce administration experience with major Salesforce modules of the Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Strong analytical, data management and problem-solving skills
  • ADM201 Certification
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce best practices
  • Proficiency in Salesforce reporting and dashboards including custom report types, filters, formula fields, dynamic dashboards and dashboard filters
  • Ability to configure Salesforce including custom objects, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflows, formula fields and security & visibility
  • Experience managing deployment of new features and functionality in Salesforce (including working with developers to implement custom configurations)
  • Experience with data manipulation, extraction and loading in Salesforce (ex: via Data Loader)
  • Experience with email to case Salesforce integration

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience implementing and building Salesforce instances based on Predictable Revenue model (i.e. Lead Generation/Qualification, Account Executive, Account Management)
  • Experience with Echosign and Congamerge
  • Experience working in a startup
  • Sales Cloud / Service Cloud / ADM211 / Dev401 Certifications
