Software Engineer (Machine Learning) in the Research and Advanced Engineering department for Intelligent Fleet

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Machine Learning) for the functional development and system design of future mobility systems in Singapore.

You are part of an international team within the Research and Advanced Engineering at Software & Central Technologies (SCT).

- Location Singapore-

 You will build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms for applications on the large datasets, e.g., the telemetry data.
 You will be performing time-series forecasting, anomaly detection, supervised and un-supervised learning using state-of-the art techniques.
 You will undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data and analyze large amounts to discover trends and patterns.
 Monitor and sustain model effectiveness.
 Combine models through ensemble modeling.
 Present complex information using data visualization techniques.
 Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges that drive business impact.
 Perform cutting edge research and publish in top-tier Journals and Conferences.

 MS or PhD degree in Statistics, Operations Research, EE, CS, or equivalent / related areas.
 Excellent understanding of machine learning and neural networks techniques and algorithms, such as CNNs, Transformer Networks, SVM, Decision Forests, GNNs etc.
 Experience with common data science toolkits, such as Sci-kit Learn, Spark ML, PyTorch, Keras, etc. Excellence in at least one of these is highly desirable
 Great communication skills
 Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Matplotlib, etc.
 Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL or equivalent
 Good, applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, Bayesian, Markov chains, etc.
 Good scripting and programming skills in R, Python, Java, or equivalent
 Data-oriented personality
