We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic Security and Loss Prevention Manager to join our Security team at our main fulfilment centre. You will need to have a good track record in Security and Loss Prevention within a fulfilment operation. The Security and Loss Prevention Manager will be responsible for shrink reduction strategies across their areas of responsibility whilst engaging with key stakeholders from the operations team. We are looking for someone who can work independently with minimal supervision with the drive and self-motivation to constantly improve and become an asset to the security function. Threats constantly evolve and we are looking for someone who will evolve with the ever-changing landscape.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Manage and work collaboratively with operational staff to deliver all security and shrink mitigation strategies
    • Develop security and operational procedures to reduce loss to an acceptable level.
    • Continually evaluation and anticipate shrink related threats by analysis vulnerabilities
    • Review shrink trends weekly and provide actionable outputs to key stakeholders
    • Manage the relevant third party security, including overseeing contact terms and delivery of KPIs.
    • Identify and protect company assets through the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
    • Make sure that staff follow security procedures and guidelines through training programs and assessments
    • Controlling budgets for security operations and monitor expenses.
    • Recruiting, training and managing a security team of supervisors and security officers.
    • Attend meetings with the operational management team and drive the security and LP function.
    • Plan and coordinate security requirements for new third party customers brands.
    • Investigate and resolve issues, provide root cause analysis to make necessary improvements.
    • Analyse data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology)
    • Create, update and manage risk assessments.
    • Ensure compliance with BRC security standards onsite.


Requirements

    • Minimum 5 + years’ experience in Loss Prevention and Security within a distribution environment.
    • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in Excel
    • SQL (Desirable)
