Senior Account Executive

Location: New York

After proven success in the UK and early success in the USA, we are now looking to build our brand and cement our US beachhead. We are looking for a Senior Account Executive, who will open and close business with some of the fastest growing retail brands. You will be a founding member of the US team.


Who are we?

You know those annoying marketing messages you get every day. Well they're only going to get worse unless someone does something about it. Ometria's purpose is to help retailers create marketing experiences their customers will love.

We use data to truly understand each customer, and make sure that their experiences are ones they truly find valuable. We do this right now for 200 of the fastest growing retail brands, from Made.com to Fred Perry, and for 200 million individual people across the world. We have (rather empty) offices based in London, New York and Southampton, and have raised over $30M from leading VCs like Octopus and Summit.


What will you be doing?

As part of the founding team, you will be opening and closing business with retail prospects using emails, LinkedIn, calls and networking events. You will oversee the entire sales process. From sourcing opportunities and then qualifying them to leading meetings and demos, putting together proposals and presentations. You will negotiate contracts and work closely with the rest of the team to build closing plans.

You will also help shape and execute our go-to-market strategy in the US, collaborating with our co-founder based in the US as well as our Marketing team. You’ll also help design and iterate our sales processes in the US.


What kind of people do well in this role?

  • Experienced

You have proven experience in an outbound B2B SaaS closing role selling to SMB, managing the full sales cycle.

  • Industry

You have sold an unknown brand into the US before (and know what it takes!) or you have relevant experience of selling a similar solution.

  • Relationship Building

You are a natural relationship builder and can build relationships and close deals with senior stakeholders as well as open doors using your network.
