Senior Account Manager, Chinese Category - Mandarin Speaking

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our UKI Chinese Category team. Reporting to the Head of Chinese Category, this is an exciting opportunity to drive the growth of Chinese restaurants across UKI. The role will be commercially focused and require cross-functional collaboration with teams across the Deliveroo business (e.g. Account Management, Restaurant Support, Sales, Marketing) to ensure the Chinese Category is performing to its best. 

You will work with hundreds of the highest performing Chinese restaurants around, build relationships with them, seek to understand their businesses, and use your analytical skills to drive growth and profitability. 

The role will be based at our London HQ with hybrid working (3 days in the office/visiting partners, 2 days at home)

What you’ll be doing

  • Map, prospect, pitch and close Chinese Restaurants to join our platform

  • Communicate (physical visits, emails, WeChat, calls, social media) with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo's capability

  • Oversee the restaurant on-boarding process to ensure it is as quick, efficient and seamless as possible

  • Ensure restaurant success within the first eight weeks from signing

  • Attend restaurant and food meet ups

Requirements

  • Fluent speaker and writer in Mandarin (and Cantonese would be a bonus!) 

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Ability to build relationships and rapport both internally and externally with our partners

  • Strong project and time-management skills

  • Fluency with data - you will be able to read and interpret data, providing actions to improve our performance

  • An interest in all things food and restaurants!
