Senior Business Analyst

About the Role:

AdRoll’s Business Intelligence team provides insights for data-driven decisions across Product, Engineering, Account Management, Sales, Supply, Finance, Marketing, and other teams globally.  We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of business strategy to produce solid data analysis, effectively communicate insights, and recommend approaches to catalyze change. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the CRO, CFO, and CMO to support executive decision making for a growing global sales and marketing organization.  The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with executives and analyzing large sales organizations and enough analytical chops to perform detailed analyses.

Responsibilities:

  • Create sales team ROI models to understand trade-offs between costs associated with levels of service, churn and customer satisfaction, and customer LTV
  • Work closely with industry leads and stakeholders to do health checks and keep a pulse on the business
  • Report weekly to the CEO and executive team on business health and forecasts
  • Analyze program performance and profitability across the organization
  • Work with the Business Intelligence team to define KPIs and reporting on how sales, account management, customer support, and other teams are allocating time and resources

Qualifications:

  • 3+ yrs experience in an analytical or strategic role
  • Masters degree in Business, Economics, or Finance (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem solving skills
  • Experience supporting senior management
  • Ability to thrive in a fun and fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong Excel skills, Database experience or proficiency in SQL
  • Attention to detail, and a strong sense of curiosity

Bonus Points:

  • Coding experience with languages such as R, Python
  • Background in Business operations or Program Management
  • Financial Modeling and Forecasting experience
  • Experience with BI tools like Tableau and Qlikview
