What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you’ll play a leading role in our game-changing partnerships including Barclays Bank UK PLC. You’ll drive engagement within the Key partnership regions, helping their customers get funding for growth by tailoring the right solution for their business.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to really move the needle for MarketInvoice by selling our solutions to a wide range of UK businesses. This partnership set MarketInvoice off on an exciting trajectory of accelerated growth. You’ll l be driving this growth from the front line so you’ll need to be a commercial, high performing superstar to make it happen.

You’ll have a lot of autonomy and take full responsibility over how you spend your time, whether that’s building/developing your network of partners or closing on existing new business prospects in your pipeline. We’re excited for the experience of working independently and to revenue targets that you’ll bring to the role. These will be enriched by support from your team as well as mentoring from your manager and leaders within the wider business.

You will be part of a collaborative team, working closely with Risk, Marketing, Technology, Strategic Partnerships and other areas of the business. You’re no stranger to this this way of working, having collaborated with teams like this on B2B acquisition in the past.

We look forward to seeing your knack for developing relationships in action as you quickly build the trust of prospective customers. You’ll use your excellent listening skills to understand their needs and your commercial mindset to figure out how best to meet them. You’ll put your negotiation expertise to work, holding your own in front of demanding customers and using your great communication/presentation skills to frame MarketInvoice’s solutions in clear and in simple terms.

With competitor landscape and brand training from the outset, you’ll understand how MarketInvoice fits into the wider-ecosystem of SME and enterprise service providers and exactly why our USPs are important in today’s fast-changing business environment.

You’ll be a champion for the sales team internally, sharing knowledge and learnings regarding the sales vision, opportunities and challenges. You’ll be a valued member of the wider MarketInvoice team, supporting key initiatives across the business.
