About the Role

As Senior Business Development Manager (m/f) you will lead our sales efforts towards commercial mobility clients by developing and converting sales opportunities with automotive companies (OEMs), national railway companies and transport network companies (e.g., ride-hailing, car-/bike-/scooter-sharing). You will build pipelines of qualified leads and masterfully manage all aspects of the sales cycle, from initial contact to closing. You will also become an expert on the Trafi technology platform and will partner cross-functionally with teams like Project Management, Product Marketing, Product and Engineering to make sure our clients experience a consistently positive brand experience.


Your Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of sales opportunities with a focus on mobility clients
  • Become an expert on the Trafi technology platform; display a deep understanding of its functionality, features, and impact for clients
  • Develop insights regarding customer use-cases; position and present Trafi as an ideal solution for client needs
  • Strategically navigate the buying processes; communicate tactfully and persuasively with stakeholders and budget decision makers
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams inside Trafi including Project Management, Product Marketing, Product and Engineering
  • Actively research the competitive landscape and official tenders to make sure we are considered by leading mobility clients across the globe, when it comes to multimodal solutions

Your Skills

  • An outstanding track record in enterprise software/SaaS sales (5+ years) or a strong background in mobility, preferably in fast-paced product-driven environments
  • Expertise in prospecting, cross-selling, and developing relationships with senior management and executives
  • Creative in getting access to prospects via various channels, e.g., LinkedIn, networks, conferences, cold calls
  • Direct sales experience and comfortable negotiating complex deals
  • Proven track record and strong references from previous employers, exceeding revenue targets and goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in client conversations, pitches or written proposals
  • Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and feel comfortable with a very high level of responsibility
  • Strong English skills (oral and written), French skills is a strong plus
  • Exceptional organization skills and multitasking skills
  • Must be willing to travel ~25% as needed
  • Bachelor’s Degree
