Position: SeniorCNC Programmer
 
Your Role:

As the Senior CNC Programmer, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to develop CNC instructions and documentation to machine 3 and 5 axis complex geometries. Basically, you’ll ensure that our parts are made on time and to spec utilizing the best available tools.  You will develop 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC program packages utilizing either Autodesk/Delcam PowerMILL or Siemens NX CAM software.  These programs must run 100% defect-free First Time Through. Experience in Automotive 3D Patterns, Models, Prototypes, Molds, and Concept Vehicles desired.
 
Basic Qualifications:
·        15+ years of experience in your field
·       Proven knowledge + expertise, and passion for CNC, Machining, and Technology
·       Proven experience working with large components –Full size vehicles
·       Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment, with minimal supervision—Self starter
·       Generates efficient collision free CNC programs—Pays attention to the details
·       Meets tight deadlines and oversees project to ensure its competed on time—Gets the job done
·       Familiar with HSM techniques including tools, tooling and toolpath strategies—Always improving
·       3D Modeling experience— Is a “Maker”
·       Has an eye for automation and understands Visual Basic or other programming tools –Process oriented
·       Keen understanding of shop math, feeds and speeds—Knows the basics
 
Preferred Qualifications:
·       Proven expertise with Autodesk PowerMILL or Siemens NX CAM
·       A diverse skillset including 2 thru 5 axis milling and work holding techniques.
·       A wide range of experience with “frame” milling and HSM techniques
·       A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision
·       Excellent communication skills and team-working tendencies
·       A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting
·       A genuine fascination for the Automotive/EV field and a commitment to global change
·       A true sense of determination… and hopefully a sense of humor
