Genius is searching for a Senior Community Manager to lead our community strategy and engagement. The Senior Community Manager develops and fosters positive relationships within and among community members, especially our editor community. Our ideal candidate is one who is passionate about collaboration, online social engagement, shared passions, music, and the Genius knowledge project. You empathize with community members, work hard to understand their experience, and advocate for their voice. You work collaboratively with everyone at Genius to improve the user experience, allowing our contributors to create high-quality collaborative content and have fun doing it. You’re constantly thinking about the game that lives at the intersection of community and product and your goal is to help the Genius community grow exponentially. A fluency in music culture—particularly pop music and hip-hop—is essential.
