As the Senior Content Marketing Manager, you’ll…

  • Work with the director of content to build and execute a content and social strategy with engaging and relevant content for customers and prospects
  • Analyze and report on content performance across the funnel
  • Own the Lob blog, including ideation, cadence, proofreading, editing, publishing
  • Write and manage content production including blog articles, case studies, ebooks, video, infographics, and a variety of other content types 
  • Write for humans, optimize for SEO
  • Involvement in execution around our content management system
  • Be the subject matter expert for across-the-funnel messaging as pertains to buyer personas and content, and articulate the vision and strategy in a consumable format
  • Close partnership with internal teams to drive consistency of our content across the website, blog, and our paid campaigns; Partner closely with demand gen, engineering, product marketing, social, editorial, partnerships, Lob.org, and PR on the development and execution of campaigns
  • Supervise multiple internal and external resources, vendors, agencies, and freelancers in the development of assets and campaign activations
  • Have an eye for design and love working with our design team to bring ideas to life

What will you bring to this role…

  • Strong communication, presentation skills, and positive team collaboration
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, with an emphasis on process, workflows, and operationalizing content production 
  • Strong, demonstrated passion for writing and storytelling 
  • 3-5+ years in content marketing, product marketing,  or a similar role
  • Understand the role of content and copy within marketing campaigns, product marketing, organic social, and corporate messaging
  • Demonstrated experience in enabling marketing optimization through content
  • Experience using project management tools for content collaboration
  • Able to use CMS to format, publish, and edit content in a variety of formats
  • Able to express a creative vision for a written piece and collaborate with designers and developers to see a piece of content through to completion
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment 
  • Superb project management abilities 
  • Ability to own and execute with a freelance contract budget as needed
  • Ability to manage multiple agencies and freelancers to execute world-class content, at-scale and on deadline
