Senior Copywriter

Your role

We're in search of a Senior Copywriter with a journalistic flair and a knack for storytelling to help shape and develop Dialpad's brand voice. This role is not just about creating content; it's about weaving our product's features and functionalities into compelling narratives that resonate with a broad audience. If you're someone who can turn technical details into engaging stories and complex ideas into clear, persuasive language, we want you on our team.

What you'll do

• Develop and refine Dialpad's overall voice and tone across all channels, ensuring consistency and alignment with our brand identity.
• Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to create compelling copy that highlights the benefits and unique selling points of our products.
• Transform technical product information into interesting, consumer-friendly content that captures the attention of our target audience.
• Take ownership of copywriting assignments from conception to delivery, including website content, product descriptions, marketing collateral, blog posts, and more.
• Edit and proofread content produced by team members, providing feedback and guidance to maintain high-quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure our messaging remains fresh and relevant.

Skills you’ll bring

• Preferred, but not required: A background in journalism with a strong portfolio demonstrating a talent for storytelling and a clear, engaging writing style.
• At least 5+ years of experience in copywriting, with a preference for candidates who have worked in tech or a related field.
• Proven ability to distill complex concepts into simple, persuasive language.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, able to generate ideas that drive engagement and conversion.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven track record of working effectively across teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field.
