Senior Copywriter (German)

We are looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our new team in Berlin. This person will lead and own the reflection of Casper's tone of voice in the DACH market region across all channels, including email, digital display, Web, and packaging. The ideal candidate is passionate about writing both in German and English, loves puns, and spins up zingers on the fly.


  • Transcreate the essence of Casper’s US creative for the DACH market
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for all aspects of our marketing portfolio (out-of-home, video, social and more)
  • Write strategically, providing a range of options for testing themes and positioning
  • Manage and develop our copywriting function for continental Europe
  • Collaborate closely with the creative, marketing and communications team leads to maintain consistent brand messaging, voice, and tone across all channels and products 


  • 5+ years of copywriting experience (and a diverse writing portfolio to prove it)
  • Fluency in English and native in German
  • A wild imagination, a witty writing style, and an editor’s eye
  • Strong pulse of the nuances and eccentricities of the DACH market
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment where many projects run simultaneously and deadlines are tight
  • Capable of working well independently and as part of a team 


  • Experience working on a global team and collaborating across multiple geographies
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior writers
  • E-commerce and/or creative agency experience

This is a Berlin-based job with competitive pay in a lively and energetic atmosphere. The Casper EU team is ensconced within WeWork's Tiergarten offices at the landmark Sony Center complex. It’s a close-knit crew of 15 and counting.
