As Senior Designer, Marketing you will work with our global team to bring the exponentially growing Axon brand to life through visually stunning design. You will work directly with our small but mighty creative and global team to build assets for campaigns, product launches, conferences, events, tradeshows, social media and those memorable pieces that every portfolio begs for. You will take creative direction, run with it and innovate on it. You will lead all things global design with the help of the Junior Designer. You will be a vital team member in our global growth efforts and will truly get to lead how things will take shape for Axon globally under the direction of the Axon Creative Director.

What You’ll Do

Location: Remote 
Reports to: Creative Director
Direct Reports: One Junior Designer

  • Work with brand guidelines to create layouts and designs that reinforce brand style and voice through visual touch points globally
  • Lead global design work, build out creative across various sizes for various final touch points
  • Design logos, ads for print and web, environmental graphics, trade-show booths, branded apparel, infographics and presentations
  • Juggle multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectations
  • Work with Axon creative team to develop company communications and presentations
  • Collaborate with product experts to create effective and hyper-targeted marketing materials
  • Dream up and learn new design avenues beyond traditional graphic design. Design print and digital experiences, create trade show booth concepts, learn what it takes to put on photo and video shoots at an agency level and come up with award-winning global ad and design campaigns that impact others and protect life



What You Bring

  • BFA or BA degree in Design, Visual Communications or related field
  • Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer for 3-5 years
  • Expert level experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications...motion, video & photo experience is a plus
  • Strong aesthetic skills and typographic abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint
  • Some agency experience preferred
  • Solid foundation in typography, layout and design
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively take direction and work both collaboratively and autonomously

Benefits listed herein may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you work.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 84,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 150,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 105,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 188,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
