You’ll use your experience to create beautiful, compelling brand assets and ensure consistency in our communications across all employee and consumer touch points. You are organized, responsible, and a team player—but most importantly, a pleasure to be around.

What you’ll do

  • Concept, design, and deliver printed and digital collateral for evergreen and seasonal efforts—including posters, books, signage, in-store graphics, landing pages, event collateral, and more

  • Art direct still life and head turn photo shoots
  • Help manage the image selection/editing and retouching process, as well as prepare visual guidelines for company-wide creative assets
  • Design the digital experience for all launches, including all typography, layouts, and interactions—plus prepare assets for performance marketing and our social channels (not including Instagram)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team, including project managers, copywriters, and business owners
  • Keep eyes on consistency across all projects and platforms following brand guidelines, plus keep your files organized and accessible to the wider team

Who you are

  • A strategic big thinker who is also detail-oriented
  • A self-starter who is passionate about your role (and about Warby Parker!) and equally excited about projects both big and small
  • You hold yourself to the highest standards and expect others to do the same
  • A team player who is respectful and collaborative with strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in design, fashion, editorial, film, tech, and retail trends—as well as visual history and classical references

  • At ease presenting your work and explaining design decisions

  • Equipped with 5+ years industry experience
  • Portfolio of exceptional self-created design work, including some photo art direction
  • Experienced in branding and ideation, with impeccable taste and typographic skills; able to pull visual reference and create mood boards and mock-ups
  • Detail-oriented and organized with an entrepreneurial spirit and the motivation to refine your projects from concept to completion
  • Ability to apply design skills (ideation, color theory, typography, imagery, texture, etc.) across all digital platforms (mobile, desktop, and tablet)
  • Firm understanding of online communications—capabilities and limitations—plus awareness of web and mobile technologies
  • High proficiency in Adobe Suite/standard industry software

  • Proficiency and understanding of technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JS
