Position Summary
Under Armour Connected Fitness is looking for extraordinary engineers who want to improve and scale the Infrastructure team.  We’re building a platform utilizing microservices that enable our clients to create amazing health and fitness experiences. We're dedicated to continuously improving our set of services and strengthening the tools and cloud platform for our mobile and internal applications.

As a member of the Infrastructure team at Under Armour Connected Fitness, you will:

  • Build and maintain low latency, high performance, scalable systems
  • Ensure the platform makes it easy for product teams to achieve rigorous SLAs and massive, global user growth
  • Design, implement and scale services that enable continuous integration and continuous deployment within our cloud environment.
  • Work closely with engineers on your team and across the entire engineering organization from mobile clients to data science/engineering
  • Work closely with engineering stakeholders to define platform requirements and underlying service implementations
  • Rapidly iterate on existing platform features


For the infrastructure team, we are looking for:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience (5+ years).
  • Strong understanding of scaling systems reliably in AWS (global experience a bonus).
  • Production experience with with data stores and/or async messaging (MongoDB, Redis, MySQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc)
  • Exposure to containers (Docker)
  • An understanding of continuous integration tooling (Jenkins)
  • An understanding of good software development practices/patterns/architecture
  • Proficient in at least one programming language (ideally Python, Golang, or Scala)
  • Enjoy working on a team.
  • Pick up new things quickly.
  • Write clean, elegant, readable and well-documented code.
