Are you looking for a role where you can work on an Agile engineering team with lots of opportunity to expand your skillset?  Are you early in your development career and want to be mentored in new cloud technology? If the answer is yes, then we need you to join us as a DevOps Engineer!  This role will be tasked to help build the innovative development tools, end-to-end development and delivery workflows for our clients.  We love to innovate and are looking for people with a passion for building.   


  • Design, implement, test, and maintain tools and processes for build, deployment, and configuration management. 
  • Ensure accessibility, security, reliability, availability, and performance of infrastructure. 
  • Administer tools and processes to build, test, deploy, and monitor software. 
  • Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations. 
  • Being the last line of support of services and applications in production. 
  • Evangelize a DevOps culture of automation, self-service, and engineering best practices to enable development teams to go from development to production with a minimum effort. 
  • We expect you to take smart risks and champion new ideas. 


  • You have a deep interest in knowing the latest trends and techniques in the industry. You will have the opportunity to actively contribute to Valence assets —articles, whitepapers, case studies, etc. 
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or software development. 
  • You are strongly capable in your coding language of choice (We are using NodeJs, JavaScript, Python and Java). 
  • Experience with one or more Cloud Computing Services (Azure, AWS, Google) is required. 
  • Strong desire for automation: building tools, services, and platforms that enable other engineers. 
  • Proven working experience with Kubernetes, AKS. Istio is preferred but not mandatory. 
  • Passion for learning new technologies and desire to grow your skills. 
  • You must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis now and in the future. This position does not offer sponsorship.
