Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Hybrid)

The Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Hybrid) role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:  

  •   Responsible for developing data infrastructure and pipelines to capture, integrate, organize, and centralize data while testing and maintaining to ensure data is readily accessible and in a usable state, including quality assurance  
  • Maintain information monitoring and processes to reduce risk using rigorous analysis  

  • Determine the needs of diverse and complex customer groups which requires applied understanding of important, strategic issues of importance to the function/initiative.  

  • Review existing applications and software to identify security improvements 

  • Install, configure, and use new security tools implemented by the organization 

  • Create SQL and NoSQL data security architectures that adhere to compliance and security standards 

  • Actively look for new techniques and approaches for protecting hybrid environments’ data stores 

  • Use DevSecOps for the infrastructure of data store security when designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining software 

  • Work autonomously with little or no supervision on important, time-sensitive, and highly visible assignments 

  • Resolve challenging issues that arise during project implementation 

  • Use hands-on coding or scripting to solve problems with a custom workflow 

Responsibilities: 

  • Developer with strong understanding and ability to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities in an organization’s systems and networks. 

  • Experienced in leveraging data science and analytics to prioritize cyber risk reduction activities. 

  • Good understanding of scanning vulnerabilities using various tools, such as vulnerability scanners and penetration testing tools. 

  • Developer with good understanding of vulnerability remediation ownership and ownership mapping. 

  • Automate scanning tools processes, scanned results analysis, other data related analysis. 

  • Monitor and report on the progress of vulnerability remediation efforts. 

  • Experience in working with other teams to remediate vulnerabilities. 

  • Assist with compliance and auditing requirements, ensuring systems and processes adhere to relevant standards. 

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS. 

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins 

  • Perform regular performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization of cloud resources. 

  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. 

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 2 years   

Desired Experiences.

  • 4 years DevOps Experience 
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
