It's an exciting time to join our rapidly growing Engineering Team at Material Bank! Currently, we are seeking an innovative Senior Director of Information Technology to take our current team to the next level, empowering the team to provide White Glove customer service to all its internal stakeholders!  

The Senior Director of Information Technology will manage end-user computing and off-the-shelf internal-facing business applications for Material Bank. This job is perfect for the leader that likes to be hands on, enjoys a multi-faceted role and has very strong complex technical project management skills.   

What you’ll do: 

  • Champion a phenomenal customer-centric business unit to provide excellent customer service to all internal clients. 
  • Management of technical projects the extend beyond the Tech Team in scope and complexity. 
  • Design some, and participate in many Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity tests including “Game Day” events. 
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Team on Security and Compliance projects, and execute security and policy rollouts to the entire company. 
  • Providing overall IT Leadership throughout the entire organization to ensure Material Bank is running smoothly.  
  • Outline and communicate IT policies and procedures 
  • Provide input on operating as well as capital budgets and tightly managing actuals 
  • Purchase assets, track of expenditures, and ensure all licensing is in place. 
  • Managing contracts for support and services. 
  • Manage the company Service Desk and provide insights on best practices while coaching the team to take initiative and be proactive. 
  • Enhance tool-based processes for HRIS concerns (on-boarding, off-boarding, etc.) 
  • Continue our efforts for SaaS consolidation, IT tools modernization and SSO implementations 
  • Lead technology transfer efforts related to aquations and divestitures 
  • Improve our mission critical systems monitoring, incident management and issue resolution tools and processes 

What you'll bring:  

  • 5 years of experience with e-commerce and logistics systems 
  • 5 years' experience managing complex Technical Projects 
  • High attention to budgeting, cost control and rationalization 
  • Proven track record on Security and Compliance projects: PCI, ADA, GDPR 
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent work experience 
  • Hands on experience with Cisco, Meraki, Firewalls, routers, switches and Wi-Fi Access points 
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux, Ubuntu, MySQL and Microsoft technologies. Azure, Microsoft Office 365, and Mac OS are all required.  
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management solutions 
  • Demonstrated project management skills combined with being a self-starter 
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills to establish vision, plans, and status 
  • Ability to communicate with all levels in the company
