Senior Director Product Go To Market

Join us as we are further strengthening our Product team and are looking for a new Senior Director of Product Go To Market to join our growing team.

The essence of the role

Your role is to help define and implement the go to market strategy of the full E&M Messaging products. You will lead your team in engaging customers, industry partners, and peers to understand customers business cases. The team shall define the Go To Market strategy for new products – as well as review/modify the GTM for existing ones. This role will also ensure that all internal/external communication, training and, generally, education is made according to the GTM plan defined. This is a fast-moving role that requires someone with capabilities to explain complex things in a simple way. The individual shall have strong communication skills, very good management skills and great knowledge of the industry.

Your end goal is to accelerate Sinch’s expansion in the messaging industry. You’ll be directly reporting to the Managing Director of Global Messaging.

As our new Senior Director of Product Go To Market, you will:

  • Understand the GTM needs for all SMS, MMS, Rich Messaging and AI/ML products
  • Participate in the creation and communication of the roadmap for all Sinch Messaging products
  • Adapt Sinch’s offering to meet internal and external requirements
  • Manage a team of 10 to 15 people in charge of the Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning and ensure you’ll drive the roadmap for how this technology will be used within Sinch products
  • Work along with your technical product management peers in order to improve product segmentation and GTM to support customer expansion and growth
  • Be a GTM expert and communicate with your peers in the product management, sales, presales, engineering, operations, legal, and finance) as well as global executive leadership.

You’ll be part of the Messaging organization which includes various teams of product managers, product operations and engineering teams based in multiple Sinch offices around the world. You will be based in Europe.

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Ability to articulate and present to different working levels from management to engineers
  • Ability to break down complex requirements and explain them in simple terms/schemes
  • Strong ownership of work and relationship with customers (internal and external)
  • Strong analytical skills and structured daily work with attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration skills and be a quick learner with passion for driving to a swift delivery
  • The ability to own your work and make informed decisions then drive them forward
  • A degree in engineering, product management or similar academic area, or relevant work experience from tech company
  • 6-9 years of experience from similar positions, preferably working with presales, products or carrier relations at an operator or a CPaaS player.
  • Understanding of enterprise messaging is a must
